What's it about?
The launch will be jointly sponsored by Age UK Wiltshire and Community Service Volunteers Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (CSV/RSVP) and follows an initial meeting in June. Since then a small working group has been developing the plans, drafting a constitution and beginning to shape the new organisation. Just two of the forum’s areas of interest will be health and social care services – later life consists of much more. But many forum members are already actively involved with the Local Involvement Network (LINk) and undoubtedly will be involved with HealthWatch Swindon in the future.
