Three out of every five people aged over 60 in England suffer from a long-term condition, and as the population ages, this proportion is likely to rise. Locally a steering group has been convened by NHS Swindon to improve local services. Made up of people and organisations representing those from across a range of conditions, including six LINk representatives, information from the group will be posted here. Certain ethnic groups are more susceptible to it than others, while environmental factors also play a part. In other words it is complex.
